Speaker Abbas hails NSA Ribadu at 65

The Speaker of the House of Representatives Rt. Hon. Abbas Tajudeen, Ph.D., GCON, has congratulated the National Security Adviser (NSA) Malam Nuhu Ribadu on his 65th birthday, saying he remains one of Nigeria’s most patriotic public officers.

Speaker Abbas, in a congratulatory message issued through his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Musa Abdullahi Krishi, described Malam Ribadu as a steadfast, intelligent, and diligent anti-corruption and security officer who has done so much for his country.

While recalling Malam Ribadu's impressive career as a police officer, the Speaker said his pioneering chairmanship of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) remains a reference point in the war against graft.

“As the NSA, Malam Ribadu has provided sound leadership and added immense value to the nation’s security architecture. He is one Nigerian who dearly loves his country and patriotically contributes his quota to its growth in different capacity given to him,” Speaker Abba said.

The Speaker wished Malam Ribadu longevity, sound health and divine wisdom to head ONSA.
