The Speaker of the House of Representatives Rt. Hon. Abbas Tajudeen, Ph.D., GCON, has felicitated the Deputy Speaker Rt. Hon. Benjamin Okezie Kalu, Ph.D., CFR, on his birthday, describing him as a dear colleague, partner, brother, friend, and dependable ally.
Speaker Abbas, who said it has been a wonderful experience working with Rt. Hon. Kalu, said they share a common passion, mission, and vision for the House, and noted that their “partnership in leadership” has bettered not only the legislative institutions but also the people and the government of the country.
In a congratulatory message issued through his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Musa Abdullahi Krishi, the Speaker noted that Kalu’s leadership is inspired by his brilliance, hard work, and patriotism.
“The Deputy Speaker, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Okezie Kalu, has been my dependable ally and reliable partner in service to our nation, as presiding officers of the 10th House. He makes our job of overseeing 358 other members who are representing over 200 million Nigerians easier.
